This stunning Ferrari 458 was just purchased second hand and was in desperate need of a detail and paint correction to restore and enhance the paint work back to its former glory!

The previous owner hadn’t taken much care of the paint work with some heavy swirl marks and scratches all over the vehicle, more noticeably on the black roof which was really letting this stunning supercar down when looking at it in the sun! The interior was detailed and the paint work received a Stage Two Paint Correction where needed and a Stage One Paint Correction overall, utilizing premium polishes from HD Car Care in the USA to produce a flawless finish. It was then coated with Ceramic Pro Permanent Paint Protection to protect the paint work from damaging environmental fallout, help keep it cleaner for longer and overall give it even more gloss!

This immaculate Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was in need of a thorough Detail and Paint Correction to restore heavy swirl marks and imperfections in the paint work, overall the vehicle was in exceptional condition however the paint work was really letting it down and needed some serious attention to make this car stand out even more then it already does!

The racing stripes were removed as requested by the customer (to be replaced), and the whole vehicle received a thorough clean and paint decontamination, once this process was complete we were able to assess the paint work to determine what level of correction would be suitable.

A Stage Two Paint Correction was performed, this process involves using an abrasive polish with the correct polishing pad to remove the heavy defects in the paint work, once this stage is complete we then went on to the second stage which consist of a fine finishing polish and [...]

There is no doubt that this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is one stunning piece of machinery, designed with several objectives in mind, to increase driving pleasure, guarantee performance and to ensure comfort and safety. Named the 599 after its engine displacement and GTB short for Gran Turismo Berlinetta, and Fiorano after the famous private track Ferrari uses to hone its F1 and road cars.

This stunning red paint on this Ferrari unfortunately was full of swirl marks and contamination, a total of 14 man hours was spent on just the exterior alone of this vehicle, decontaminating the paint and removing heavy tar deposits, once the paint work was free of contamination multiple paint correction stages were used to correct the paint work to produce a stunning imperfection free finish.

Recently we were called down to Melbourne to work on this brand new Maserati Granturismo MC Shift to give it a Stage One Machine Polish to remove minor swirl marks and to enhance the paint work, the paint correction was performed over 6 hours, once this was complete the paint work was thoroughly prepared with a alcohol based cleaner to remove any residue and then an application of Ceramic Pro Permanent Paint Protection was applied.

Superior Shine had the pleasure of working on this stunning brand new $660,000 Lamborghini Performante which was put on display for Ceramic Pro at the 2013 Top Gear Festival event at the Sydney Motorsport Park.

Over 22 hours was spent meticulously Detailing and performing a multi-stage Paint Correction on this stunning exotic supercar before it was coated with Ceramic Pro Paint Protection. The solid black paint work on this Performante was extremely soft, whilst the paint work is completely flat which gives off a mirror image on the solid black it can be easily ruined though with marring and scratches which were easily induced due to the soft paint.

Now that it is protected with Ceramic Pro it now features a hard protective coating that is rated at “Above 9H” hardness which will help reduce marring and light scratching, and protect it from damaging contaminants whilst adding even further gloss to the paint work.

This Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder was in desperate need of a good Detail and Paint Correction, followed by Paint Protection to protect the paint work from contamination and light scuffs / scratches.

It was meticulously detailed and the paint work was machine polished with a Stage Two Paint Correction to remove the moderate swirl marks and scratches by Superior Shine and a QLD Applicator of Ceramic Pro – Auto Glamour.

Once the car was detailed and the paint work was correct it was then protected with the Ceramic Pro Permanent Paint Protection Coating by Nano Shine to ensure the paint work is protected from harmful contamination and has a super hydrophobic effect so water simply rolls off keeping the car cleaner for longer.

The paint work was in fairly decent condition with only minor swirl marks, firstly various paint thickness readings were taken so we could get an average of the overall thickness of the paint work, once the paint thickness readings were taken from various points on each panel we clay barred the surface to remove any embedded contamination.

A Stage One Paint Correction was then done to remove the light swirl marks and marring from the paint work and to enhance the gloss. Once this stage was complete Ceramic Pro Paint Protection was applied [...]

This Black Ford XR6 unfortunately suffered from overspray from a nearby factory and severe swirl marks from years of incorrect car washing. It once had a nice deep gloss but years of neglect had this car looking dull, lifeless and covered in swirl marks and scratches.

A Stage 2 Paint Correction was performed on this car over a total of 6 hours, an hour and a half was spent clay barring the car for overspray removal, clay bars are like play dough and are rubbed over the surface with a lubricant, clay barring removes any contamination embedded on the paint work to give it a smooth as glass feel before polishing the paint work.

After the clay barring was complete around 4.5hrs was spent machine polishing the paint work, this involves using a premium cutting polish and polishing pad to remove the heavier swirl marks and scratches, once the heavier swirls and scratches are removed [...]

Unfortunately like a lot of cars this near new black Toyota Corolla has fallen victim of the car wash café and their poor car washing techniques, after several trips to the car wash café the owner has noticed the paint no longer looks as good as it once did and is now covered in swirl marks and light scratches and lost its gloss.

This Stage 2 Paint Correction was performed at a total of 7 hours work. Machine Polishing to remove any imperfections in the paint work is a lengthy process and produces far better results then a quick cut n polish performed by most car detailers or car wash café’s, a proper Machine Polish is not something that can be done within an hour or two, this process involves Clay Barring the paint work to remove any contaminants then a Two Stage Machine Polish to remove any imperfections in the paint work and bring [...]

Unfortunetly like most red cars, especially earlier models with single stage paint over time they tend to become dull and life less and require a good polish/wax every few months to maintain their appearance not just a quick wash every few weeks, this Honda Integra is a perfect example.

A Stage 2 Paint Correction (Machine Polish) was done to bring the gloss and colour back, a service like this on a vehicle in this condition can be expected to take up to 6-8 hours using different polishing pads and polishes to restore the dull paintwork back to a high gloss finish without leaving buffer trails like inexperienced car detailers.
